Director: Robert Ben Garant Starring: Christopher Walken, Dan Fogler Release date: Aug. 29 Related Links: Movie site / Trailers Unorthodox-sports comedies are nothing new. And in some cases, when Ben Stiller quips something about “Joanie loves Chachi” after pummeling an opponent with a dodgeball, it can be quite amusing. Sadly, such is not the case with “Balls of Fury,” a table-tennis tale that just misses the mark with too many unfunny one-liners and a dull plotline. But on the flip side, the film does star Mr. More Cowbell himself Christopher Walken. And he’s wearing a kimono. Can’t be that bad, right? |
