Dartmouth campus roars with buzz, spin and hype for debates
As chants of “Up with hope, Barack the vote,” and “All our hopes are ridin’ on Joe Biden,” resonated across a Green filled with tents, balloons and even a purple, blow-up elephant-donkey, students heading back to class got more than they bargained for Wednesday afternoon, courtesy of the eight Democratic presidential campaigns that invaded the Dartmouth campus in anticipation of the night’s debate.
Film Spotlight: ‘Good Luck Chuck’
Dane Cook is a tool. OK, that might be a bit harsh, but Cook’s latest flick, “Good Luck Chuck,” does the comedian little justice. A poorly done romantic comedy chock-full of gross-out slapstick humor, “Chuck” has little to offer moviegoers. Unless you’re in it for a half-naked Jessica Alba. In which case, you won’t be disappointed.
