Arcade Fire’s second Merge release picks up where “Funeral” left off with more hauntingly beautiful, intense songs. A solid album from start to finish, “Neon Bible” is sure to be among the year’s best.

Spidey spun his web for a third time on the big screen, but this one didn’t stick quite as well as the first two. Although the film was still an action-packed adventure, it failed to take off like its predecessors with a stale plot and a few too many characters.
