Max Karson is no Jonathan Swift; but if you start labeling every satirical piece of writing with giant neon letters spelling out SATIRE you diminish the power of satire.

Karson’s column appeared on a page labeled “opinion”. And anybody who knew his background would clearly know his piece was meant as satire. How hard would it have been to simply Google his name?
