I certainly hope so. I grew up in a society that I have gradually seen changing and becoming more knowledgeable and tolerant of who I really am. At the same time, I have a son, a grandson, two great grand daughters and have practically raised and am currently like a Father to, another four year old. They all love me, as I them and I hope that they would look upon me as normal. My family is predominantly intelligent, college graduates, attend church… several are ministers and my sexual orientation means nothing to them. Because of who I am, and the fact that I’m out, they became more tolerant of what they did not understand.

I do agree that it is the political left and liberalism that is destroying the country as we knew it, although that doesn’t make the right always right. And, unfortunately, most of the GLBT community have allowed themselves to be pushed into the “lefty” camp under false pretenses, mostly out of spite and non-acceptance by conservatives who maintain bias, prejudice and lack of tolerance.
