The gathering convenes the 5th Annual MBA Career Services for Working Professionals Alliance Conference (http://mbacswp.org/conference/default.aspx) on April 20-23, 2008.
“The MBA Career Services for Working Professionals Alliance (CSWP) is a consortium of university-based career management specialists who provide counseling and resources to executive and part-time MBA students and MBA alumni from top graduate business programs,” said Pepperdine’s Tina Ohmstede, director of career services, Fully Employed MBA programs and alumni.
Ms. Ohmstede and her peers meet annually at a member school campus to share best practices and learn from industry experts on topics that impact their constituents and the services their respective business schools provide.
This year’s event is themed “Career Transitions,” a topic that will be addressed by keynote speaker Ira Krinsky, Ph.D. As senior client partner for Korn Ferry International in Los Angeles, Dr. Krinsky headed the firm’s Education and Not-for-Profit Practice in the Western Region of the United States.
